Contact: Sean Decker FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Tel. 323/309-5439 Email: seand999@hotmail.com ‘THE HORROR STARLETS’ TO BOWL FOR BOOBIES Hollywood Horror Actresses Unite to Raise Money for Women Battling Breast Cancer Demonstrating that their interests lay not only in cinematic hack and slash, a bevy of hot horror actresses have united for the fourth year running for a good cause: to support local Los Angeles women battling breast cancer, via their participation with The Busted Foundation (a non-profit charity which provides monetary assistance to women who are experiencing financial challenges as the result of fighting and living with the deadly disease). Organized by Dreadcentral.com writer Sean Decker, ‘The Horror Starlets’ 2012 team is comprised of the returning Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever), Ashlynn Yennie (of The Human Centipede films), Allison Kyler (Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2), Brooke Lewis (Slime City Massacre), Sarah Butler (I Spit On Your Grave) and Carlee Baker (The Woman). Joining them are Natalie Victoria (DeadHeads), Kristina Klebe (Rob Zombie’s Halloween) and Barbara Nedeljakova (of Eli Roth’s Hostel films). In addition to their goal of raising breast cancer awareness, the team is set to participate in the 8th Annual Bowling For Boobies®, which tales place on October 21st in Los Angeles at Jillian’s Hi-Life at Universal City Walk with a red carpet, followed by an evening of bowling, raffles and giveaways, with the proceeds to directly benefit women struggling with breast cancer. Joining the ‘The Horror Starlets’ will be The Go-Go’s Jane Wiedlin and Thomas Jane of Reno 911, among other celebrities. Says Sean Decker of his work with ‘The Horror Starlets’ and Busted Foundation, “For the last four years I've been involved directly with Bowling For Boobies and it's been a vastly rewarding experience, as the money we raise goes directly to women struggling with breast cancer. As a team we are reaching out to the horror community and beyond this year, and ask people to come together in support of local Los Angeles women fighting this disease.” Added Brooke Lewis of the Ms.Vampy series and Alien Dawn: "When Sean Decker contacted me to be a part of the team in 2008, I could not have been more honored. As an actress, producer and writer, I have always been a strong proponent of anything that empowers and supports women! The Busted Foundation and Bowling For Boobies inspires me, because I have lost friends to breast cancer and I have fought with others to beat this challenging disease. Breast cancer is one fight we cannot back down from, and I am here to let women know they are not alone during this battle! Please make a donation and help us support women in need!" ‘The Horror Starlets’ are soliciting donations via their official site which can be found here: WWW.DREADCENTRAL.COM/THEHORRORSTARLETS For more info on the event, you can visit Bowling For Boobies® at www.bowlingforboobies.com History BUSTED FOUNDATION grew out of the dedication and success of Bowling For Boobies®. Bowling For Boobies® began in 2004 lead by Terri Lyman, Stefanie LaHart and Edith Speed as a support to Edith while she was in her own fight with breast cancer. Our event was such a success that year that we were all inspired to continue our efforts and reach out to more women in our local community. In 2007, Busted Foundation was formed and incorporated with the intent of continuing and expanding the work of Bowling For Boobies®.
