Frankie's Favorite Obsession was formed in June of 2001 by several dedicated Rocky Horror performers who came together for the common cause of bringing Las Vegas a quality Rocky Horror Picture Show performing cast. Last Halloween, FFO broke the all-time attendance record for any single Rocky Horror show in Las Vegas history!
FFO are a talented, selfless group who believes in doing a quality presentation. The cast features several seasoned performers, some of whom have been performing Rocky Horror since the late 90s! FFO firmly believes that the audience comes first and that putting on the best performance they can is what this is all about. All cast members are over the age of 18. LOS ANGELES, CA- Horror show host and The Garbage Man writer/director, Hart D. Fisher, went head to head with his worst fear, fighting a rat & black widow spider infestation in his Los Angeles home, and had to call in the cavalry- The Discovery Channel’s elite group of pestbusters, The Verminators. When Gary gets the call from the horror film director with a fear of rats, he discovers the real scare is the threat the rodents pose to the health of his wife, who is recovering from cervical cancer.
“We had rats in the trees, in our attic, it was driving me nuts, it was driving my wife nuts, and when things start to bother my wife, the kid gloves come off.” said American Horrors host, Hart D. Fisher "I may live and breath horror movies, but when you find a black widow spider crawling across your big toe in the bath tub and you’ve got rats staring at you through the window, it’s time to call in the professionals. The guys from Isotech, they really kicked ass on these rats & spiders.”
The Verminators “Lights! Camera! Vermin!” featuring the adventures at Mr. Fisher’s home will air this Sunday, September 13th at 9am on The Discovery Channel. “They brought over a bug wrangler and a couple BOXES of black widows. It was not easy holding still while they dangled the biggest Black Widow I’ve ever seen over my big toe with crazy glue and piano wire.” Added Mr. Fisher. “It took a lot of self control to just sit there with that big bug an inch away from my toe hanging by next to nothing.”

HIGH DRAMA: Bringin' "personal" Brooke stuff back! It has been 2 months and I am still recovering from my awful viral lung infection that truly stopped me in my vampy lil tracks! I've been taking it easy and feeling a bit better day by day. I cannot thank all of my friends and fans enough for all your emails, cards, love and support. I have done some serious soul-searching during this mess and have really gotten clear on what is important in life and what I want to create for my future. It is all about love, respect and upholding each other's highest good! It is about being around people and projects that make you a "better" person...and, we make them "better" in return! It is about giving people the "space" to be who they are supposed to be...even when it is difficult! It's about doing the best we can in each moment and not beating ourselves up when we aren't "perfect". It is about taking time out for ourselves and time to breathe! Funny that I would work myself to the bone and not come up for "air" trying to be "perfect" and get a viral lung infection, so I couldn't breathe for 2 months...interesting, huh? BE TRUE...TAKE CARE OF YOU...SUCCESS WILL FOLLOW!!!

HORROR: I was recently contacted by a dear friend and business associate, Marv Blauvelt, about the film COME. Here's what he had to say:
"When my friends, Arthur Cullipher and Kirk Chastain (from CLOCKWERK Pictures) gave me the script for COME and offered me the lead, I immediately said yes....the script is very "Lovecraftion", (and I LOVE H.P. Lovecraft)...it is by far the creepiest project I have been attached to, and some of the visual imagery that Arthur and Kirk have captured is VERY Dark and Haunting....and the gore scenes are not for the squeamish. Filming is nearly complete, and from what I have been told, the folks at Clockwerk Pictures plan to finish post by the end of August and start submitting to festivals as soon as possible."

A surgical fetish doctor, obsessed with cutting off the vulvas of women and sewing them on their faces, meets his fate through the conspiratorial workings of a brothel proprietor, a prostitute and the Goddess of a strange religion.

Marv Blauvelt, (Sculpture) plays Dr. Conduit, a man drawn into the worship of monsters and led to shocking acts of depravity, vying for the favor of a dark mother goddess.

Dave Pruett as Mr. Maker, proprietor of the brothel that has supplied the doctor's past two victims. A sinister individual with a wooden hand who will lead the good doctor to his fate and salvation by offering him a mysterious opportunity.

HIGH DRAMA: Had to share this one, as "drama" follows me from Hollywood to Buffalo!!! :) So, I hit Buffalo last week to play the role of Nicole in SLIME CITY MASSACRE. I flew across country all day and was totally wiped out and ready to hit the sheets at my hotel. I was still on West Coast time, so I had a tough time falling asleep. I watched TV for hours and started to freak out, as I had to be up at 7am to get to set. I finally zonked out at 3am and was sleeping like a baby when the fire alarms start raging like crazy and the hotel gets evacuated! I thought I was having a nightmare, as it was 5am and I had to be up at 6am to get ready to shoot. The hotel guests sat outside for an hour before we were allowed back into our rooms. It turned out that a toaster oven had caught on fire in the kitchen...just my luck! :)

Cutz is not for the faint at heart. It is a psychological thriller that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat right from the very beginning. A group of kids enter a psych unit with various issues. Unbeknownst to them they have a connection that soon reveals itself. After years of repression they all begin to remember how they got to where they are today: drug addicted, eating disorders, cutting. Once the “secret” reveals itself, mayhem ensues.
Filming is set to start in August. Still casting some of the major roles.
This will be Megan’s Directorial debut.

HOLLYWOOD: THE BOLLYWOOD BOYS: The old saying that "work begets work" really seems to hold true! I recently wrapped a film called THE SINATRA CLUB and met a wonderful guy who was working on production, James L. Bills. We totally bonded, as he shares a similar attitude and work ethic to mine! Through producer Crystal Wortman, I was brought into the movie DOUBLE TAP and low and behold...the DP was James L. Bills! (See where this is going? ;) James got to see my work in 2 back to back flicks and soon contacted me about 2 upcoming projects he is directing! We have recently done a deal to attach me to his hilarious comedy THE BOLLYWOOD BOYS. I am very excited and get to act in the film with the 2 leads...David Faustino and Corin Nemec (For all you 80's fans like me...BUD BUNDY and PARKER LEWIS!!!) Check out a quote from James:

""The Bollywood Boys" came from an idea that Producer Al Gomez (writer of the comedy classic "Joy Sticks") had 3 years ago. He let me run with that idea and by summer of 2008 I had completed the script. The roles of Jerry and Tom (our heroes) were written specifically for David Faustino & Corin Nemec (STAR-VING) who in 2009, along with their business partner Todd Bringewatt teamed with our production team making "The Bollywood Boys" an AGP / FNB production.

I worked on a TV pilot with Nan Swartz, an Emmy winning producer who had created several shows for MTV in New York and brought her and her partner Andrew Greenbury (There's Something about Mary) on board as part of AGP.

Given the comedic needs of our project I have approached some very talented actors to join "The Bollywod Boys". Currently I am in discussions with Hilliary Barbour (The Bold and the Beautiful) , Camden Toy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) , Brooke Lewis (The Sinatra Club) and the very sexy girl from our poster Lauren Jacobs.

HIGH DRAMA: I know each week, I keep this section open to gossip, premieres, conventions, nights on the town, friends and personal stuff, but this week I want to get really personal. Those who know me know that I am like a powerful, lil energizer bunny who "keeps going and going" and doesn't stop...and, this is often true! Well, recently, I was stopped and my batteries died!!! Since the beginning of 09, I have been blessed with back to back projects, tons of public appearances, traveling to movie premieres and horror conventions all over the country and about 3 friend's weddings! A typical day of mine begins at 5:30 AM and ends around midnight. I was going for several months on about 4 hours sleep a night and spread really thin. I thought I could go at this pace forever and all the films, red carpets, money and "accomplishments" were worth it! Well, I crashed and burned on my last film and ended up with a severe viral lung infection that I am still fighting for over a month! I have been in/out of the hospital, on tons of steroids, meds and breathing machines, haven't been able to talk or breathe, took off work for 2 weeks and lost a film, have spent a fortune on doctor bills, herbs and expenses, haven't been able to work out and feel like someone beat the shit outta me! Why am I sharing this with you?...Not for sympathy, but to share my experience, lessons and realizations! As artists, we all work so hard to make our dreams and goals come true...we sacrifice things from romantic relationships to missing certain special moments with family and friends to vacations to sometimes even inner PEACE and HAPPINESS! We think if we "keep pounding the pavement" or take that next meeting or make that personal appearance, something HUGE will happen, so "I can't stop now"!!! Well, take it from a lil lady who was just "stopped", it doesn't matter what "level" we are at in our career or what "budget" films we are doing, it is about finding balance, love and INNER PEACE! It's about saying "NO" sometimes and being okay with it...and not "fearing" that more won't come! I have been suffering so for the past month, but believe that God and the Universe kicked my ass, so I would STOP and they could get my attention for a month :) I have done more resting, relaxing and spiritual work in one month, than in the past 2 years! I have counted my blessings and thanked God for the unbelievable family, friends, business associates and opportunities I have in my life! Funny how in the past month, I haven't been able to breathe, but was forced to take a huge "breather"...crazy how that works! ;) You may think I have rambled in this post, but if one thing I shared made you think about life or this craziness of a career we all love so much, then my job is done!

Whew...that was a purge! Gotta save some energy, because I am flying out this week to star in Greg Lamberson's SLIME CITY MASSACRE with Debbie Rochon and Lee Perkins, even if I have to take an oxygen tank with me!!!
